Roger Kockaerts exposes a wide selection of his diptychs at the musée du marbre in Rance.
These works are related to those of the late Academie Montbliart nearby (occupied during the early 1950s by writer André Balthazar and painter-sculptor Pol Bury, both surrealism followers. They published the magazine Le Daily Bul)
A photographic print is combined with computer graphics to create a work with poetic-conceptual character. The photographic part is a monochrome analogic print; the graphic part consists in combinations of semantically used symbols available on the keyboard.
The exhibition will be open from 16 April to 29 May 2016. Opening: Sunday, April 17 from 13 hours onwards. The author will be present on Sunday April 24, and May 1, 8, 15, 24 from 13 hours onwards...
